地上的国度之间的战争，其实背后是一场属灵的争战（但10:13、10:20-21、启 12:7 ）。神的儿女要不住靠圣灵祷告（弗6:18）！
如果我们能够相信明白的话，我们就能明白为何使徒保罗称这些掌权的天使为空中掌权者，而撒旦为空中掌权者的首领（弗2:2）。我们也就能明白为何使徒保罗说我们活在地上的圣徒不是与属血气的人争战。我们其实是活在一场肉眼看不见的属灵争战。我们乃是与那些（在天上）执政的、掌权的、管辖这幽暗世界的，以及天空属灵气的恶魔争战（弗6:12）。
如果我们能够明白圣徒所要面对的战争，就能明白为何要穿戴神所赐的全副军装 （弗6:10-20）。求主教导我们，开我们的属灵眼睛明白。
【但 10:20 他就说：「你知道我为何来见你吗？现在我要回去与波斯的魔君争战，我去後，希利尼（原文作雅完）的魔君必来。21 但我要将那录在真确书上的事告诉你。除了你们的大君米迦勒之外，没有帮助我抵挡这两魔君的。」】

基督徒碰到问题时，应该要懂得先找牧者或者比较智慧成熟的基督徒诉说，而非跟非信徒（哪怕是忘年之交）说。
因为当局者迷，若有问题的基督徒听到的首个意见、建议、劝谏是来自非信徒，该基督徒的第一步思路就极有可能偏行。因为他的回应将会是属肉体血气的。
当然，我们都要反省，为何主内弟兄遇试探时，不会先找自己的牧者或属灵充满智慧的弟兄姐妹，只有到了快分崩离析时，才求救。
有时一些不愿找牧者，因为他们多半猜到牧者会如何辅导劝诫他们。有时他们内心已经多半悄悄躲避神所以不愿面对神要他们改变或舍弃的地方。一个一心寻求主面的，往往不会陷入邪恶网罗。求主怜悯我们，怜悯教会。
要寻求耶和华与他的能力，时常寻求他的面。(诗篇 105:4 和合本)

今天听见一位弟兄说 “reformed theology in the hands of sinners is dangerous” (翻译: 改革宗神学在罪人手中是危险的)。 他说这话是因为曾经被教导提倡改革宗神学的弟兄们深深的伤害过。 回想我以前初学改革宗神学时，就像法利赛人拿着一柄尚方宝剑，用来对付那些生命不如我的弟兄们，批评论断那些在罪恶中挣扎的弟兄。用来批评与我有不一样神学立场的弟兄们。求主赦免饶恕医治我。求主帮助我余生的年日更像我主耶稣。
我们是没有办法阻止下一代，用更多的时间与精力在虚拟世界。求主赐一些教会能力、负担与才干。兴起一些有使命的年轻人也能在未来的元宇宙中传福音。
元宇宙尝试给许多在今世无盼望的年轻人一个全新的盼望与精神寄托。在现实生活中人际关系的失败，在元宇宙中可以重新再来。元宇宙中可以再结婚生子，能够建立新的友谊，能开创新事业。元宇宙能赐我们完美的躯壳，心里想拥有的面貌与身材。元宇宙是罪人所尝试建立的乌托邦 “新天新地”。
元宇宙的世界里也必定有黑暗与罪恶，因为元宇宙是由罪人所操控的, 背后属灵的影响是来自撒旦。元宇宙背后的“政府”就是为了赚取更多利益的大型企业。这些大型企业必会想尽各样办法来满足人在元宇宙中的欲念，例如：更大的能力、更好的配备、更大的房子、更美丽的衣服等等，只为了从人身上赚取更多金钱。

夫妻都不是天使，都是蒙恩蒙赦免的人。夫妻相处久后、争吵久后、斗争久后，都应该知道彼此之间的底线是什么。透过无数争吵之后，就会慢慢明白彼此的底线是什么。配偶的底线千万不要随意触犯。
夫妻要长久必须学习不断饶恕、不断包容、不断接纳。（太 6:14 你们饶恕人的过犯，你们的天父也必饶恕你们的过犯；15 你们不饶恕人的过犯，你们的天父也必不饶恕你们的过犯。」）
遇见过一些基督徒，由于他们自身非常关注某一些课题，结果导致他们以心里所追求的偶像来诠释整本圣经。例如：有一位信徒因为最在意的是经商的课题，后来发现圣经确实有一些经商的原则与智慧（箴言20:10）。结果他每一次读圣经时都以经商的角度来诠释圣经中的每一卷书。不仅如此，他每一次都会以经商的角度来教导人圣经。这就是把自己的意思读进圣经里而不是把圣经的真理读出来。
若是那人再偏激一些，他甚至可能会开始论断其它信徒，认为只要不关注经商的课题就是肤浅的福音。甚至轻看凡事不按他们心里所认为的理念来教导的人为无知。
无可否认的，圣经确实有涉及一些经商、身体的健康、家庭、夫妻关系、哲学、心理学、社会学、科学、政治等等的教导。但因着我们自身非常在意与关注某一个课题，一不小心这课题就成了我们心里的偶像。因为拜偶像的心态是要去利用上帝满足人内心深处的渴望与追求，结果就会导致我们经常用以偏概全的方式来教导圣经。当一个人心里的偶像是什么，他每一天所说、所追求的就是什么。
这就好比有一个人很喜欢吃白糖，无糖不欢。结果认为每一道菜若是不甜就不是佳肴。其实没有一个人会否认糖对身体的益处，但若是这个人因为喜爱吃糖，以致每天食用大量的白糖导致了身体肥胖、引发糖尿病等等。 当旁人好意劝说这人要减少白糖的摄取量的时候，却反被批评为无知，竟然说糖是毫无益处。
林前 10:14 我所亲爱的弟兄啊，你们要逃避拜偶像的事。
拣选的教义提醒我们，我们是一个基督徒，只因为是上帝在创造世界之前（弗1:4）已经决定把祂的爱给予我们。至于为什么神选择爱我们，不是因为我们有什么好或优点（罗9:16、11:6、提后1:9），我们能够得救是本乎恩，也因著信；这并不是出於自己，乃是神所赐的；也不是出於行为，免得有人自夸 (弗2:8-9)。神为什么爱我们呢? 这也绝对不是因为我们有什么好，不然我们就有可夸耀的了（弗2:8-9、罗4:2、林前1:29-31）。
神爱我们（约3:16、15:9、17:23、约壹3:1、约壹4:9-10、弗2:4-5）是祂拣选我们的原因，是按祂自己意旨所喜悦的（弗1:5、1:11），除此之外在也没有其他原因了。这一切的最终，我们会爱神并使祂的荣耀得著称赞 (弗1:6、1:12、1:14、罗9:23、11:36、赛43:7)。我们爱神，只因祂先爱了我们。
